Caskets sold on the roadside, in Masaka, Southern Uganda, is a common
sight because of the HIV/ AIDS pandemic. Millions
of people in sub-Saharan Africa, and around the world live in extreme
poverty. They work to meet their basic needs of shelter, food, education, and
healthcare, on less than a dollar-a-day. Success equates to surviving another
day.
