Christian Rubio, 5, mindlessly picks paint chips from
a window frame at his family's home in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The family
lives on a block that has one of the highest concentration of lead poisoned
children in Michigan. Awareness of the danger is important, but neither
Christian nor and of his five siblings have been tested for blood-lead
poisoning.
