"SUBSTANDARD HOUSING" The ceiling collapsed in Yomarie Vega's children's room. The $600 rent for a two-bedroom apartment seemed like a good deal months earlier. They put out $1,800 in first and last month rent plus security deposit. Soon after moving in, they discovered why the rent was so low. The building was eventually condemned.
