"Lost Dreams in Tuokou"
Chaoyang Temple was the biggest temple in Tuokou Town. During every important festival, pilgrims from provinces and counties along Yuan River would bring cakes and fruits here as sacrifice, burn joss sticks piously, pray health, safety and smooth travel for their family members. In September 2013, Lay Buddhists at Chaoyang Temple in Tuokou were worshiping the Divine Emperor and praying for prosperity of the new town as well as good luck and fortune for offspring.
