"Arctic Outposts"

The hand of Ilannguaq Umaaq, a 54-year old Inuit hunter photographed in the abandon village of Dundas, where an entire Inuit community was forcibly relocated when the American Thule Air Base was build in the 1950s. Later a B-52-plane carrying atomic bombs crashed nearby, and according to local Inuits, contaminated the environment and wild life.
