"LIFE WITHOUT LIGHTS"
A surgical team performs a c-section during a power cut in Abobo Sud Hospital in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, April 18, 2011. A week after the end of military standoff in Abidjan - during which residents in need of medical care were trapped in their homes - very few hospitals were open. The c-section was unsuccessful; the mother lived but the child was still-born.
