"AMERICA'S CUP WORLD SERIES"
The America's Cup World Series is a new professional racing series that brings top level racing to various international locations prior to the 2013 America's Cup. In 2012, there was two World Series' races in San Francisco, which will host the next America's Cup. The teams race on cutting edge wing-sailed catamarans flying at speeds over 30 miles per hour, with a mix of fleet and match racing to test the abilities of the best sailing teams in the world. The teams race on an AC45, which is the forerunner to the AC72 that teams will race in the 2013 America's Cup.
