"DAM PROJECT THREATENS A WAY OF LIFE IN PERU"
Ashaninka children watch the birds a hunter from their village just brought home after hunting them with a bow and arrow, in Tsiquireni, a village in the shore of Ene River just below Pakitzapango. The ashaninka live with no money, they farm and gather ther food from the forests and rivers that would be flooded by Pakitzapango dam if it is built displacing them.
