"WATER IS PERSONAL"
SUVA, FIJI, NOVEMBER 2006: An 73 year old man stands in the waters off his traditional village inamongst the gravestones of his ancestors in Suva, Fiji. When he was a boy the gravestones stood on dry ground, they are now covered permanently, even at low tide. Scientists believed that global warming is responsible for the rise in water levels in this region. Island nations around the world are increasingly under threat from rising water levels as the earth warms and polar ice-caps melt.
