Jonathan, now 11, was nine years old when his mother Carla was stabbed outside his apartment building. That same morning, Jonathan had pleaded with his father not to hurt mom. Today Jonathan and his sister live with their grandparents in another city. "I will never forget her. She is my heart and I am with her always”, he says.
