Futon bedding is left lying on the bedroom floor of an abandoned home in Okuma, Japan which is less than three miles from the damaged nuclear power plant. In Japan futons are traditionally stored in closets each morning but residents had no chance to put their homes in order before evacuation orders on televised news conferences exiled them on March 12.
