"FAMINE IN THE HORN OF AFRICA"
Women venture to the camp outskirts to forage for firewood, and return bowed under the big bundles lashed to their backs. Stripping the trees has angered local Kenyans. They return with wood and horror stories of being raped out in the bush where they are alone and without the men in the family. Somali women do most of the hard labor for their families.
