A llama is sacrified during San Antonio de Padua festival in San Pedro Estacion, Atacama desert, Chile. The community was displaced in the 60s from their original location in Ojos de San Pedro, a lagoon that was dried up to supply water for Chuquicamata, they took refuge next to a train station with no chance to farm or rise livestock anymore. These days the entire community lives in Calama city, but they gather every year to celebrate their Saint Patron San Antonio de Padua in San Pedro Estacion. June 2010.
