When he first got home from the hospital, Josue had trouble with the simplest tasks - walking steadily, grasping objects. He asked where his shoes were, and when his mother told him they were under the table, he couldn't remember what that meant. He couldn't remember the word "banana." What remains today is a scarred child, literally and figuratively. He has migraines and is his anger - throwing tantrums - comes quickly now.
