Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico, 1999. At the Ocaranza psychiatric hospital, a 17 year old, who has been temporarily freed from a straitjacket, swallows her whole hand. The girl's only acknowledged therapy is to place her hands under a heat lamp for fifteen minutes.
