Gravediggers at the Edhi cemetery pray over the body of Tahira, 4, an Edhi orphan who died of respiratory complications, on March 6, 2008 in Karachi, Pakistan. The gravediggers prepare several graves in advance per day in preparation for the inevitable number of unclaimed bodies that the Edhi foundation provides a proper Muslim burial for. All graves are numbered and files kept at head office in the event of family members seeking to find the disappeared.
