Since January of 2008 almost 30 albinos have been slaughtered in Tanzania. The murders are a result of extreme poverty and ancient superstition. Owning albino body parts are said to bring luck and fortune. The Mintindo school has become a sanctuary for albino kids in northern Tanzania.
