Fourteen-year-old twins Jose Luis and Jose Eduardo, shown making the once-weekly call they are allowed to their parents, lost their dad when he was arrested for selling drugs. After that, the brothers filled the void with a steady string of petty crimes which has landed them in juvenile detention multiple times.
