During the inmates freetime some boys are eating soup
and playing cards, while the warden is keeping an eye on the action. In
Latvia the official standard for living space per juvenile prisoners is three
m2. In the section for sentenced prisoners, juveniles are accommodated in
large dormitory type rooms for 20-22 inmates in eight units.
