Mozambique. Maputo: Benfica district. Centre for
abandoned children and women. Most of them were abandoned by the familes
before hospitals or directely before the centre because of their handicaps.
The centre is directed by a dutch priest. There are no public institutions
for this kind of problem. The reforms have cut down the welfare state in the
cities.
