Michael Zamora The Morning News
Robin Dodson sits in her car on a cell phone Sunday,
July 10, 2005, as rescue workers with the Fayetteville Fire Department try
and decide the best way to get her out of her vehicle after Dodson slid off
the road on the I-540 exit ramp near Sixth Street and Futral Road in
Fayetteville. Trooper Ted Grigson with the Arkansas State Police said Dodson
was headed south on the off ramp when she took the curve too fast and slid on
the wet pavement. The driver was transported to Washington Regional Medical
Center for minor injuries. "This happens here every time it rains,"
Grigson said.
