"Koochie Boy"
A Koochie boy gathers rushes from the marshy
verges of the riverbank outside Jalalabad. Koochies are nomadic people and in
this area of Afghanistan spend the winter in the warmth of Jalalabad and the
blistering summer in the relative comfort of the plains around Kabul. October
