Former Milwaukee mayor Frank Zeidler readies himself for a
brief car tour of new housing in Milwaukee.
Zeidler, who served as Milwaukee mayor from 1948 to 1960, describes himself
as a 'reflector on everything I see.' Zeidler says his list of dislikes are
not long. 'I'n not strong on rock music or hip music,' he says. 'I listen to
it occasionally just to see what they are doing.' Zeidler, who is president
of the Central North Community Council, said he wanted to see examples of new
housing in various Milwaukee neighborhoods in order to offer up examples of
things that could be done in and around his neighborhood, near N. 2nd and
Locust Streets.
