'Where is the rock? Where is it? Is this rock?'
Mia is talking to herself while desperately
searching the basement floor for that little white chunk of cocaine, that she
thinks she may have lost down here the day before. She's picking up small
pieces of bread and plaster smelling and tasting them, but doesn't find any
crack. Ali has stopped sharing his cocaine with Mia and when she has got some
of her own she will go to the basement telling him she's doing the laundry
and smoke the crack cocaine in a corner between old furniture and bicycles.
