The apartment Mia
lives in an apartment in the Nordvest district of Copenhagen. Nordvest is a
district known to have a high rate of inhabitants on social welfare and
unfortunately as the story goes without a lot human resources. She likes her
apartment and tries to keep it nice and tidy. But every once in a while
things go wrong. Like the time when one of her ex boyfriends climbed the
drain pipe and trashed her first floor apartment in his search for drugs.
Mia is 25 years old. She is a drug addict
and a prostitute. In a world of crack, heroin,
short term relationships, and too many dark days, she's trying to lead a half
way decent life. Trying to keep her addiction from killing her. Trying to
live a life other people wouldn't deem worthy.
