Patterson is prepped for a magazine photo shoot
by USA Gymnastics vice president Steve Penny, the
day after winning the all-around gold. The shoot was just the beginning of
the whirlwind that would follow for her after joining the ranks of the most
celebrated gymnasts in history. 'It's all kid of weird,' she said at the time.
'It will sink in when I get home and see everyone.'
