"Hoover Dam"
Under a lengthy fireworks display, a laser light show
is projected on the face of Hoover Dam at a ceremony commemorating the
centennial of the United States Bureau of Reclamation, which built the dam in
1935. The celebration, which cost about $650,000, closed the U.S. 93 between
Nevada and Arizona for twelve hours.
