Iraqi villagers mobbed a truck filled with water and
food near the town of Safwan, as the delivery of humanitarian aid from Kuwait
resumed in southern Iraq. An estimated 20 tons of boxes containing bottled
water, rice, lentils, tea and other staples were distributed along a dusty
road near the village as people filled the road and ran across farm fields to
meet the truck.
