Alden Longfellow, left, chats with his son, Alden, as the latter's son,
Jake, descend the tractor full of hay bales, as his sister, Jessica, kisses
her boyfriend, Johnny Nelson, outside the elder Longfellow's barn in Farmingdale
Sunday afternoon. Three generations of Longfellows helped bring in the
farm's hay for the season. The Longfellows have been haying at the same farm
for over 200 years.
