DANCERS - Catherine Lloyd, Karnesia Lloyd, Alexis Cummings, 12, and Dominique Edmondson, 14, dance in the hallway of The Starr Apartments on 22nd St. where they live. The Starr and The Paradise, which are side by side on 22nd St. are two of the remaining apartment complexes remaining between 5th Ave. and 22nd Ave. S. and also one of the most affordable rents in the city.
