Atomkhan hauls a load of firewood through a desolate area of West Kabul to his neighborhood bakery which - - like all bakeries in Afghanistan - - bakes bread in a wood fired oven. Even at 7 a.m. his shirt is drenched with sweat and he's not half way to his destination.
