About 220 workers are involved in the United Nations project to make a park for women in central Kabul. Thirty years ago this area was a lush garden for females with grass, benches, a well and large shade trees. The park suffered during years of fighting and finally the Taliban cut all the trees and made an army camp out of the grounds.
