Twelve-year-old Jama served an afternoon shift on guard duty on top of a building where Hazara soldiers held 27 Taliban prisoners in Bamiyan, Afghanistan. He was part of the Northern Alliance troops which fought with the United States against the Taliban and Al Queda.
