Zakera, 3, Tahira, 4, and their brother, Muhammed, 5, (L to R) sit on the floor of the Aloudin Orphanage in Kabul and eat their lunch of rice and boiled cauliflower. The orphanage is home to 600 orphans and the children eat the same meal every day with little or no variation. They sleep in the same clothes worn day in and day out. Decades of war have created thousands of orphaned children throughout Afghanistan.
