Saide, 44, waits to speak with family members while a man peeks in to the waiting area looking for his family at Malalai Maternity Hospital in Kabul. Men are not allowed to enter the hospital or the waiting area, but can speak to family through a hole in the wall outside the walled waiting area. Saide's daughter, Sanowbar, was in labor with her first child.
