November 11, 2002 - Denver - An inmate at the Denver County Jail sleeps
on a "boat", a portable plastic cot in the middle of the floor in
one of the jail's overcrowded dormitories. The facility, which was
built to house 1350 males, is way over capacity at 1911 inmates.
