"Life in Ruin" After nearly 20 years of civil war, much of Afghanistan's capital of Kabul is in ruin. But due to poverty and no other alternatives, hundreds of the thousands of Kabul residents live within the bombed out remains of Gada-e-Mawaind like this women, covered in a burka, as she wanders back to her home.
