A group of athletes work-out on the bars while on the Coney Island beach at the start of summer on Memorial Day in Brooklyn, New York, USA. The work-out bars on the beach are free for the community to use and are a destination for many. The New York City Parks Department hosts in August a yearly calisthenics competition at the bars drawing contestants from across the nation. Monday May 27, 2019.
