American soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division
take cover and yell to others to get out of the line of fire as they're
ambushed in a valley by Taliban fighters while patrolling the village of
Hazarbuz in southern Afghanistan. The two-week operation involved
eliminating Taliban fighters and bringing stability to the remote mountainous
region where they were known to be in control. The operation was one of many
during following some of the heaviest Taliban attacks since they were ousted
in 2001.
