Joana, four years old, has got maleria.
Maleria is the main reason for deaths in Africa. More than one million kids
under five years die every year. In Uganda, where Joana live, approx. 100.000
kids die every year.
A lot of the poor farmers do not use money on
moscitonets and they don't have money for medicine. At the same time there's
a lack of medicine especially in the mountain areas where Joani lives.
Joana got her medicine within 24 hours and she survived this attack of
maleria.
Bukaharobo Village, Mount Elgon, East Uganda.
