Genoveva Tart lost her husband and her young son, on
their child's 2nd birthday, the day hurricane Katrina's vicious tidal surge
slammed into their home. Akia Huddleston, Barbara Shepard, and Genoveva
embrace as the bodies of Genoveva's husband, Sam, and 2-two-old son Mattie
are lowered side by side into a cemetery surrounded by broken trees in
Gulfport, Mississippi. Genoveva said she found her husband dead in their
home; he drowned while trying to save Mattie from the rapidly rising tidal
surge.
