Relatives of Nankai Ahir (right), mourn at the
funeral of Nakai's sister, who was caught in the crossfire between Maoist
rebels and government military forces. Their village of Daulatpur was the
site of a fierce exchange of gunfire and she was shot in the head. It is
clear that the main victims of the 10 year old civil war are ordinary
non-combatants.
