"Bidonville"
In the Casablanca, Morocco, neighborhood known as Messouddi, an elderly
Moroccan woman sits amid the rubble left behind
when Government workers destroyed several illegal shanty homes. The homes were
built on a roadway, now the street will soon be passable after the debris is
removed. Many of those displaced will be relocated to Government sponsored
housing elsewhere in the city.
