"Oasis Amid Turmoil"
A newly opened park in Baghdad serves as little
distraction to Sara Jamil, 7, absorbed in thought
amid the swirling activity of other youths. Since the initial siege of
Baghdad by U.S. forces, the city has become the scene of constant chaos, from
car bombs to mortar attacks to running gun battles through the streets with
the occupying U.S. military.
