During a wake at New Golden Gate Funeral Home Monday, young
boys say their goodbyes to 16-year-old Justin
Fayne, who was murdered on Dec. 27, 2003, outside a house party as he tried
to make his way home before his 10:30 p.m. curfew. 'Ever since I started high
school, friends have been dying,' says Antonio Perkins, a classmate of Fayne
at Milwaukee Juneau High, who says he has lost 15 friends, almost half to
homicide. 'After a while, to see death so much, it does affect you.'
