Daisy Ngcobo's children prepare her dinner in
their government issued cinder block hut as the
sun sets in a township outside of Pietermeritzburg, South Africa. Daisy's
younger daughters now pull all of the weight around the house as Daisy has
become to weak from AIDS to do anything. Situations like Daisy's are kept
very quiet in the townships because of the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS in the
Zulu culture.
