Children sleep in the arc in Gulu, Northern Uganda. They flee the villages in the late afternoon to avoid abduction and death at the hands of Josepth Kony's Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) up to 25,000 children sleep outside in Gulu town each evening. Nearly 9,000 children have been abducted in the past twelve months. After sleeping the night outside in the wet, cold open-air bus station they rise at 4am to start the 10-20km walk back to their villages.
