Maria Villasis shows the scars from her operation.
She has many health problems with her liver and stomach due to the pollution
of the water her doctor told her. More than six years ago an open pit just a
few feet away from her chicken house was covered with soil and turned into a
soccer field. She has had many of her animals die due to the pollution of the
water. Her husband Benigno Martinez is a potential witness in the trial
