The children are having an evening meal. Consisting
of a bag of boiled rice and bits of meat from big bones, that they have found
in the garbage. Through the night the children take turns sleeping, because
of fear of unwanted visitors. Grown-up criminals or groups of other street
children may come to attack the children during the night and steal clothes,
shoes, and other valuables. They also face the risk of the police coming to
take them to a street children's center. This has happened several times to
all of the children.
