Sweden's foreign minister Anna Lindh died on the
morning of September 11, 2003, after doctors had struggled through the night
to save her life. The day before she had been stabbed in a department store
in central Stockholm. People all over Sweden were deeply moved by the
tragedy. At the main square in Malm?, Anna Lind's Social Democratic party had
organized a memorial ceremony.
